Living The Dream

George: Things about Britain's Got Talent, the hardest round, is the judges. If they like you, then you're okay. If they really like you, you know you're safe. And I guess the first year they liked me ??for?? was "okay", and then Piers said, "OK. You were good enough." And that really, that really got you down.

George: I didn't go away in the first year thinking, "I wasn't good enough, maybe I should give it up." I went into the thinking, "I wasn't good enough, next year I will be." I had a whole year to practice it and practice it and practice it and came back and all depended on one, one moment.

Simon: I was glad that he came back to the second time around because I hadn't forgotten about him. Uh, I wasn't sure, after the moment like that, whether he would come back again, because, you know, you could have your confidence broken. Uh, but he came back and he was a little sheepish the second time I saw him, because uh, he understood what it felt like to be disappointed.

Simon: When we saw him on the semi-finals, no one thought this coming, ah, all I can remember is he's standing there, and all comes "Singing In The Rain." "God, he's fourteen years old, he's doing "Singing In The Rain." This is gonna be great!" And then it all kicked off.

George: If I went tonight, not only will it change my life, it will save my life.

THE COMEBACK

        • -

George: You've gotta work hard. Boss ??? You know, if I didn't work hard and if I did lazy, for did like if I didn't like an hour, I like free fall??? you could tell, because the money of nine and a half was not much, and that I realized that more work, the more work, the more of hours, the more effort I put into it, I gain more money. And I took that into consideration with the show. The more work, the more work and hour you put into it, ???? I didn't go away in the first year thinking, "I wasn't good enough, maybe I should give it up." I went into the thinking, "I wasn't good enough, next year I will be." I had a whole year to practice it and practice it and practice it and came back and all depended on one, one moment.

George: Yeah.
Amanda: You're taller!

Simon: What did you do last year, you are dancer?
George: Yeah.
Simon: Right. And you didn't make it through to the final show, did you?
George: Yeah. To make it through to semis, actually.
Simon: No. For me, I always thought you should've done it, to be honest with you. So, what did you learn...in the last twelve months?
George: Last twelve months, I've trained harder, and I've just got big ??amber??,

        • -

THE SEMIFINALS

      • -

George: Amanda was..had the right idea, you know, she ??? and an act of an singer to win this, and I guess her saying that on the semi-finals made me more confident, more confident like, I may have a good chance. And..I went that on that night, I just performed my heart out.

        • -

MC1: And here is...it's Geroge Sampson!

        • -
