ジョージ・サンプソンのBritain's Got Talent 2008の最初のオーディションのビデオを書き取ってみた。
昨年は、最初のオーディションは通過したものの、準決勝には進めなかったのだった。
その後、再挑戦を誓ったジョージ。
裕福でない彼は、レッスン代やそのたもろもろの出費をまかなうため、一年間、マンチェスターの路上でストリートパフォーマンスをした。
ダンスの技を磨くと同時に、小銭を稼いだのであった。
そして、彼は14歳になり、オーディションに戻ってきた。
審査員も、彼を覚えていて、暖かく迎えたのだった・・・。
さて、肝心の、今年のオーディションは。
かなり計算された演出であることがわかる。
パフォーマンスは１分程度だが、観客が飽きないように、構成している。
ただ踊っているだけではなく、音楽に合うように、動きをよく考えている。
中盤、床で寝転んで足を開脚して回転するシークエンスがあるが、曲とマッチしている。
途中、ヘアバンドを取って投げ捨てたり、変な顔をしてみたり、アクセントをつけている。
片手をついて、倒立状態で回転するシークエンスがあるけど、あんなのできるもんなのね〜。

Narration: It's the end of the another Britain's Got Talent. And it's ??mix back??
For some, the dream is over. For others, the dream is just beginning.
And for this many contestants, he's never given up on his dream.

MC1: Now, this is a familiar face... How are you?
MC2: Haw are you? Nice to see you again.
MC2: Welcome back!

George: I'm George, and I'm fourteen, and back here again this year to dance.

Narration: We first met George a year ago when he auditioned hoping for the better life for him and his family.

George: I am not great, not exactly...rich.. we're surviving, this competition can be a big chance.

Narration: George did it well in his first audition..

Simon: Never seen anything like that, ever! Brilliant!

Narration: But while the judges had to chose the semi finalists, Simon wasn't able to convince other two, and George's dream was over.

Piers: Unfortunately, you weren't quite good enough.

George: When I was told I was ??free?? last year, I've got it because ?? That's why I decided to have to come back and try again.

MC1: What did you do..while you've got this year?
George: Bigger move, bigger ??amber?? Moves...
MC1: Yeah.
George: And danced on the street in the Manchester just to get back, ???so as raise money???, it goes to go to lessons, it goes to petroleum to drive here around, and if without it, I was unable to pay to be here today.
I was even more last year, because last year I really wanted it and it's..it's just one of the things ??in charge of heading got to get..

MC1: Good luck!

George: Last year, I was nervous, but this year I'm ??a number of? as twice as nervous.

(George come to the stage.)
Amanda: Hello!
George: Hi!
Amanda: I remember him!
Simon: We met last year, didn't we?
George: Yeah.
Amanda: You're taller!
George: I know.
Amanda: Much taller!
George: I know.
Simon: What did you do last year, you are dancer?
George: Yeah.
Simon: Right. And you didn't make through the dance show, did you?
George: Yeah. To make it ???through the show???, actually.
Simon: No. For me, I always thought you should've done it, to be honest with you. So, what did you learn...in the last twelve months?
George: Last twelve months, I've trained harder, and I've just got big ??amber??, with moves, and so...
Amanda: Good attitude!
Simon: Better raised bar this year, Right?
George: Yeah.
Simon: OK. Off you go.

MC1: Come'on George!
MC2: Really wants to do ??love??
MC1: I do, yeah.

(George starts the performance.)

MC2: He's wicked..!
MC1: Yeah.

(Geroge finishes the performance.)
MC2: He's back! He's back!
MC1: And not ???

Simon: OK. George, you know I am a fan. And I...seriously for... for you last year, to get you into the finals. And, I was really disappointed you didn't. Last year, I thought you were fantastic. This year...I didn't. I thought you were phenomenal!

MC2: I've never heard the word before! ???? anyway.

Simon: ???Your best answer we're made ??? career miles???.
Piers: We like people like you, you know, people who don't get quite far enough, go away, think about it, and you know what, I'was ??proven wrong.??
Amanda: I completely agree with Piers. Great spirit, great lovely smile, great face, great energy, and just really cool!
Simon: Piers, "Yes" or "No"?
Piers: Well, I'm "Yes," ??obvisously.??
Simon: Amanda?
Amanda: Yes!!
Simon: George Sampson....Three answers!!

MC1: You must be ??over?? the move!
George: I, um....
MC1: Speechless?
Geroge: Yeah...
MC1: I'm really...
George: What should I say?

Simon: I said this last year!
Piers: Yeah, you're right!
Amanda: Things...
Simon: I always said this kid is something...

MC1: We're so glad you came back well done, and we'll see you in the next round!
George: Yeah.
MC1: Well done! Off you go! Well done!

Piers: ???
Amanda: He has a gorgeous face...
Simon: I like him very...
